Artwork: Rhythms of Doha

Living in Qatar has provided me with the most unique auditory experience. The sound of water splashing at the Corniche, the music on Dhow boats, calls of prayer, and the amalgamation of voices in the souq, all construct a soundscape representative of a city rooted in its culture yet progressive in its vision. These rhythms of Doha have been recorded and woven wave by wave using the Bedouin storytelling craft of Al Sadu weaving.
